DRAFT. Have this reviewed by a lawyer before launch, and update it when payments or coach sharing are added.

The short version

SprintScore analyzes your videos on your own device. If you don’t make an account, nothing you record leaves your device. If you log in, your athletes, results and videos are backed up to your account so you can use them on other devices. We don’t sell personal information.

What SprintScore processes

What we collect

Without an account, SprintScore collects no personal information. Our website host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability.

With an account, we store your name, email address, whether you’re an athlete or a coach, your birth year (to confirm you are 13 or older), and the athletes, results, tracked body positions and videos you save. This data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and each account can only see its own data. Videos are deleted 90 days after they are saved unless you renew them; everything else is kept until you delete it or delete your account. [Confirm the Supabase data region and add it here.]

Error reports. If something goes wrong in the app, it sends us a short report so we can fix it: the error message, the app version, the page and your browser or phone type. Error reports are not linked to your account and never include videos, names or results.

Coach comments. Coaches can write private notes about athletes on their roster, which only that coach sees, and comment on reps an athlete shares with them, which that athlete can read. If you report a coach’s comment, we keep a copy of it and your reason so we can review it.

[When payments are added: explain that payments are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe, and that SprintScore does not see full card numbers.]

Children

SprintScore is intended for users 13 and older. Athletes under 13 should use SprintScore only with a parent or coach. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can deny camera or microphone access at any time in your device settings; SprintScore still works with uploaded videos. You can delete any rep or athlete in History, and you can delete your account and all of its data in Settings → Account → Delete account.
